Give your growth a boost with a green smoothie for breakfast! My green smoothie recipe is a tad unconventional even if I say so myself. Typically a green smoothie is made with just fruit, leaves and water. Well, I am NOT a health nut and obviously there are "healthier" substitutions, but my green smoothie is packed full of protein and essential hair growing vitamins and minerals AND I don't have to force myself to drink it because it tastes GOOD!
Even my kids like it!
LHDC's Green Smoothie Recipe
What you will need:
***Ingredient amounts may be adjusted to suit your individual taste***
1 Cup Plain Non-fat Yogurt
2 Handfuls of Fresh Spinach
1 Packet of Carnation Instant Breakfast (vanilla flavor)
What you do:
Put your liquid ingredients in the bottom of the blender first and then put your solid/frozen ingredients last and blend until smooth. Pour into a bottle and enjoy!
Makes about 24 ounces (give or take)
Tips: Frozen fruit/leaves makes a creamier smoothie; Substitute the spinach for your favorite green leafy vegetable (i.e. romaine lettuce, kale); use PLAIN yogurt to get the maximum amount of protein
ENJOY!

I am going to try this.
