I asked my girls on Saturday how they wanted to wear their hair for Easter and my oldest wanted her's curly and the youngest wanted her's in 2 buns...I had been planning all week to shangle (not SHINGLE; "shangling" is my version of shingling hair! 
) their curls. Anyway, I did what they asked and when I tell you that my girls thought they was FLY that's what I mean!!!
They were pretty fly actually! 
For my youngest, after I put her hair in two pig-tails, I simply twisted her hair around itself (kinda like a bantu knot) and used a rubber band to hold it. I shangled my oldest's hair with Long Aid Curl Activator gel and let it air-dry. Both styles were done on freshly washed hair.
Do you have a post on the "shangling"? I would love to try this one my daughters hair.
