My youngest daughter had graduation pictures recently and I decided to blow-out her hair so that her pony tails can have a bit more length underneath that mortarboard and since I was doing one I HAD to do the other!

Long hair can be a pain to grow out but you can change your appearance quickly with wigs.
WOW, I have dreams of straightening my daughters hair and this is very inspiring! Them girls got some hair on their head! Great job Mom!
I missed the conditioning method you use for the girls?
Do you say their ends are good to go or you should clip them? I only ask because my daughters ends look like that and I wonder if that is normal or should I cut (I cut :)).
LHDC: Hi, BIA!!! I've never cut their hair....now Big Girl has cut her OWN hair a couple of times...my advice is to just leave it alone. All that high maintenance stuff is not for little girls, IMO.

I completely agree about GoldNHot products lasting forever I have 3 flat irons that are gold n hot and I have had them for years, I only upgraded to a new due to the ceramic/tourmaline hype.
My hooded dryer is gold n hot and I've had it for 4+ yrs.

Wow! Thick and long. Reminds me of the good old days of my youth.

Disregard, the first part of that question, I found the regimen. I don't think I condition or airdry her hair properly. I plan to try the way you condition and airdry their hair to help with the shrinkage alitlle bit.
Still wanna know aout the dryer, though? :)
LHDC: I got you, sis :)

Their hair is gorgeous. It looks so thick and healthy.
Do you have a regimen for your daughter's hair?
My daughter is natural as well and I plan to keep her hair that way. For her graduation and her ballet recital I tried to straighten it. It didn't turn out so well. Those are the only times I tried straightening it.
Is there a specific dryer that you recommend, mine doesn't have comb attachtments.
LHDC: Hey, LaQT!!! Thanks!!! I don't recommend a dryer...I have an old Gold n' Hot that has lasted for YEARS and that's what I use...it's the "sharp-shooter" shape rather than the kind that's shaped like a comb...the "flat" ones. Do you get what I'm trying to say??? LOL But when that one quits (if it EVER does) I'll probably go get another Gold n' Hot. Gold n' Hot's hair appliances last literally FOREVER. So I know I'll get my money's worth.
