If you are like me, I like to use gel to slick down my edges when I wear a bun or pony tail. Sometimes good ol' grease and water just don't get it! If you are a gel-addict, use a mild gel like Aloe Vera gel.
Aloe Vera is naturally moisturizing and doesn't contain protein so you don't have to worry about disrupting that delicate protein-moisture balance in your strands from daily use.
Happy Hair Growing!

Tiffany,
Do you tie your ends down with a scarf after applying aloe vera? If not try that and you should have a hold.

lol. I use to do those hard swoops with the brown gel (a totally different thing then what you're talking about right now). Burn the pictures, and Kill me. I just didnt have any guidance back then *whimpering*

Aloe vera gels provides a slight shine to my hair but doesn't really provide a hold. Do you know of any other gels that hold natural hair? Also what are your feelings about products with cones?
