I received a couple questions on my ACV post last month, that I wanted to go ahead and address. So, here we go!
Tia says: "I have been wanting to try the ACV rinse as a spritz, but was wondering are you rinsing out the ACV after spritzing or leaving it in???"
No I'm not rinsing it out. I use it as a "final spritz" much like many use ACV as a final rinse. I use it this way because it helps to close the cuticle resulting in much easier detangling sessions, as well as shiner, stronger hair.
Peggy asks: "is this incorporated into your wash days? or do u use it as a daily spritz? i didnt think you could use acv as a daily spritz."
This is definitely incorporated into my was day - you're right that ACV shouldn't be used daily as it can be extremely drying. I use this spritz on my hair once a week.
Naddy asks: "but how do you mask the smell if you leave it in?"
There's no need to mask the smell. As your hair dries the smell dissipates. In fact, I've noticed that the smell is gone while my hair is still wet. I don't deal with smelly products anymore. I know it sounds unbeliveable but I can honestly say that there is no lingering vinegary smell.
