ShedNoMore Daily Strengthening Healthy Dress

I went to the beauty supply store recently to re-up on my Hollywood Beauty Castor Oil grease and when I went to put the product away, I found a sample of ShedNoMore Daily Strengthening Healthy Dress in the bag.  I haven used it because I don't know what's in it but the product line seems interesting...when I Googled "shed no more" the first hits that came up were for pet products...

What I think about Curlaway...

Ok, so it really isn't fair for me to review a product that I've never actually tried, but I'm doing it any way!!!   On my last Curlaway post, I highlighted the things that made me go "hmmmmmmmm" about the product and one of those things was the first ingredient listed on the ingredient list:

Patented Curlaway Curl Relaxer contains naturally-derived aqueous acetic acid (pH lowering agent)

What piqued my interest most about this patented ingredient was the acetic acid part...I thought to myself, WHERE have I heard of this before, so I went to my trusty Google toolbar and searched for it...

Lottabody Straight Stuff IS the stuff!!!

I've been using this product since probably the beginning of the year.  I don't use it for it's intended purpose which is a heat protectant/straightening aid, instead, I use it as a detangler and it is WONDERFUL!  The thing that I like most about it is that I can use it to detangle my hair regardless of how I style my hair and it doesn't weigh my hair down.  AND since I started using it I seem to lose less hair on average during my weekly comb-outs.  This stuff is a keeper.  AND it replaced 3 products that I was using to detangle:

My Whipped Shea Butter Review

Well, Divas, I wasn't impressed with the whipped shea butter...I was really excited abot it, too.  I wasn't prepared for the consistency of the "raw" unmixed butter and I expected the consistency to be creamier once it was whipped.

I have an "on-again, off-again" relationship with Amla Oil!

And each time we're "on-again" I can't figure out WHY we went "off-again" in the first place!  Besides the shine that Amla oil gives my hair, I LOVE the way it smells and it makes my hair SO friggin' soft!

See, I've been doing this new thing with my hair; instead of co-washing in the morning, I've been cleansing at night and following my morning routine:

My Henna Experience...

Hey, Divas!

I tried henna and I think it's gonna be a keeper!  I'll probably use it once a month...didn't color my greys like I thought it would, but overall I'm satisfied!  My hair feels stronger and thicker (and when I say thick, I mean THICK) after only one application   I must inform y'all, though, HENNA IS VERY MESSY!!!
