Long Hair Don't Care 2011 & Beyond!

As the new year approaches, I'm finding myself thinking about the direction that I want LHDC.net to go.  My main goal  for 2010 was to incorporate a vlogging element to the site, which I've done.  The LHDC YouTube channel has been received extremely well in the online hair growing community, gaining more than 1,500 subscribers in only 8 months of the first video upload. 

Seeking Article Submissions!

 
As an ongoing effort to spotlight readers of my blog as well as keep the content fresh and exciting, there is always an open invitation to submit articles to LHDC.net.  Not only will your article submission demonstrate support for this blog and the efforts of the blogger, but it can spotlight and drive traffic to your blog as well.

LHDC.net receives tens of thousands of page views a day and most of that traffic comes from search engine queries.  I am all about helping and assisting each other.  So, if you are a blogger and would like to have some of your relevant articles posted on LHDC.net, please submit them to longhair.dontcare[at]live[com] for reveiw.

Please note, that submitted articles MUST be formatted and edited.  Articles that contain excessive grammatical errors and misspellings will not be posted.

Every year since the blog has started...I guess this would only make it the 2nd request ...I ask my readers to send in pictures of their (and their daughter's) Halloween hair/costumes!!! 

I know y'all are already taking pics of yourselves and your daughters, and many of you are already loading them to Facebook and emailing them, SOOOOOOO, it won't be too much out of your way to submit a copy to LHDC.net or load a few on our FB page!!!

My youngest was born in August, so this is a special month for me.  My dad and father-in-law were also born in this month, and so is one of my line sisters.

Have you ever wondered why we ask for donations?  I know some of you have donated, and I certainly appreciate that, but, even you, who's donated, have you ever wondered WHY the folks behind LHDC.net ask for your hard earned money???

Well, I'm going to answer that question for you right now....

In case you haven't noticed (or if you're new to longhairdontcare.net) here's a quick rundown on all of the new & exciting things happening here!!! 

First, and probably most evident is the design!  Do you like it? 

Just so you know...

Now that LHDC.net is officially multi-faceted  (blog, forums, youtube, facebook) I just wanted to let y'all know that each facet is exclusive.  Meaning, what's posted on the blog, won't necessarily be posted on the forums or facebook or youtube...and vice versa.  There will be some things that are posted EXCLUSIVELY for facebook, EXCLUSIVELY for youtube, EXCLUSIVELY on the blog and EXCLUSIVELY in the forums.  And of course, some things will be posted in all places...

SO, you can pick and choose where you want to be or be a part of it all!  Y'all have NO idea how much I appreciate all the support you give LHDC.net and stay tuned for some more exciting things to start happening with us!!!
