Lockport, New York – Early on a Saturday morning, six people were shot at a large Halloween party, according to the Lockport Police Department. Investigators said that one person was killed and five others were taken to district hospitals.
Shortly after midnight on Saturday, police responded to 43 S. Niagara Street after news of the shooting. Once at the scene, the authorities said they learned that six people had been shot, one of whom succumbed to her wounds. Police identified the deceased as Cheyenne Farewell of Medina, NY.
Police stated that the other five victims who had been shot were taken to district hospitals for treatment. The condition of these victims is still unknown.
