Albany, New York (WROCGovernor Andrew Cuomo announced on Tuesday that five states have been added to travel advisories related to the Coronavirus, This requires travelers coming from areas with high infection rates to self-quarantine for a period of two weeks upon arrival.
Arizona, Minnesota, Nevada, Rhode Island and Wyoming were added to the list in this week’s update. There are currently 35 US states and territories affected by this advisory.

- South Carolina
- South Dakota
- West Virginia
Travel indicative quarantine applies to anyone arriving from a country with a positive test rate greater than 10 per 100,000 residents over a seven-day period on a rolling average or a country with a positive rate of 10% or higher on a seven-day renewable average.
Governor Cuomo said earlier this summer that people caught flouting counsel face civil penalties ranging from $ 2,000 to $ 10,000.

There are exceptions to the quarantine travel advisory rules: essential workers are exempt and a stay of less than 24 hours in an area will not constitute an application.
