The Bowling Green soccer team was without four assistants on Tuesday as it prepared for the University clash in Buffalo at Dwight Berry Stadium in Northeast Ohio.
Bowling Green’s sports division announced before the match that four coaches will be absent from the match due to Covid-19 and contact tracing protocols. A statement from Bowling Green said the four assistants, who have not been identified, have been in quarantine since Thursday.
Bowling Green also has not determined whether the assistants have tested positive for Covid-19 or whether they have been in close contact with an individual or individuals with Covid-19.
Bowling Green coaches are expected to return for the Falcons’ upcoming match, November 28 in Ohio, once the Covid-19 protocols are successfully completed.
