The bridge battle takes place in women’s basketball.
The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference announced the schedule for women’s basketball matches on Tuesday. He is due to host Niagara Canisius on January 27 at Gallagher Center in Lewiston, and Canisius will host Niagara on March 3 at Kossler Sports Center, the final match of the regular season for the Purple Eagles.
Canisius and Niagara split the season series in 2019-20.
The college’s women’s basketball season is set to begin on November 25, and the inaugural match is set to begin on December 9.
Canisius is set to open his 20-game MAAC roster on December 9 in St. Peter’s in Jersey City, New Jersey, and are scheduled to play their first home game on the pitch on December 16 against Ryder.
Niagara is set to open its 20-game MAAC roster on December 9 in Siena in Ludonville, New York, and the conference room is scheduled to open on December 16 against Quinnipiac.
TV information and start times for the MAAC games will be announced at a later date.
Neither Canisius nor Niagara have announced no-conference schedules.
The MAAC announced last week that it would not have fans in matches until December 23, as a precaution during the Covid-19 pandemic.
