CHICTOAGA, New York – Federal authorities searched the home of a Chictoaga man wanted by the FBI for allegedly entering the US Capitol building illegally on January 6.
The FBI confirms to 2 On Your Side that agents were at the Harding House Wednesday morning, the day after a picture of a man resembling Harding was posted on the FBI’s social media pages looking for information related to the violence at the Capitol.
Harding has admitted to participating in the January 6 rally, and has posted photos on social media showing him wearing the same clothes as the man who appears to be Harding in the FBI photo.
Hundreds of supporters of President Donald Trump stormed the US Capitol after a speech the president gave. Members of Congress were in session at the time. Several people were arrested for their role in the riots.
