Niagara Falls, New York – The Niagara Falls mayor’s office says fees are pending after a “reckless” driver caused a multi-vehicle accident after 12 p.m. Friday in Niagara Falls.
A 32-year-old man, whose identity has not been revealed, was driving a Chrysler 200 heading east down Niagara Falls. The Toyota Tacoma was withdrawing from the Burger King when Chrysler ran over them.
Next, Chrysler collided with a Chevrolet Equinox, then the Equinox collided with a Jeep Cherokee that had stopped at the intersection of 76th Street.
After this collision, the 32-year-old Chrysler driver continued to drive until he hit a pole. The shaft was said to be cut into the base, but suspended by wires.
The 32-year-old driver was taken to ECMC, and two more people were hospitalized.
The mayor’s office says the 32-year-old is in stable but serious condition. The other two were treated and released.
