an Apple

Apple today announced a new CPU for An iPad of the eighth generation, A12 Bionic. The A12 Bionic, found in the base iPad model, provides a 40 percent faster CPU and 20 percent faster GPU than 7th-generation iPads, and Apple says that also means the A12 is twice as fast as its best-selling Windows laptop, three times faster. It is our best-selling Android tablet, and six times faster than the flagship Chromebook.

IPad Air

Just as many analysts and leakers have predicted, Apple Introduced iPad Air at “Time Flies” live broadcast today. The new iPad Air comes about a year and a half after the last update, but it does more than the previous update: it fixes the overall design of the device. IPad Air will be available in October. Starting at $ 599. It comes in five colors: silver, space gray, rose gold, green, and sky blue.

By taking cues from the more expensive iPad Pro, the iPad Air now has significantly reduced bezels, the lack of a Home button, and the rounded edges of the screen. However, it doesn’t have the front-facing TrueDepth sensor array that the iPad Pro uses for Face ID authentication. It even offers something new to Apple devices – albeit not new to consumer mobile devices in general. Apple has designed a new version of Touch ID, built into the top button (which doesn’t look different visually). Below the button is a laser-cut sapphire lens and a sensor dedicated to reading users’ fingerprints.

IPad Air gets the new A14 Bionic CPU, built on 5nm process technology. It is a more efficient six-core CPU with two high-performance cores and four low-power cores and is more efficient for simpler background tasks. A14 Bionic delivers a 30 percent GPU performance boost over previous generations, and Apple says it doubles the graphics performance in typical notebooks.

It also offers a 16-core neural engine for machine learning performance – which can include many of the features used in graphics editors, voice assistants, and more – as well as a new DJ app that allows for “air scratch” gestures on the iPad.

The iPad Air will also bring a USB-C connector, allowing connections to devices like external cameras and an LTE modem that is 60 percent faster. Camera has been updated to 12MP with 4K video and improved video stabilization. The speaker system has also been redesigned, with the stereo attached in landscape mode.

The Smart Keyboard Folio will be available for the iPad Air for $ 179 and offers layouts for more than 30 languages, including Simplified Chinese, French, German, Japanese, and Spanish.

Also in the design world, the iPad Air now has a connector compatible with the Magic Keyboard peripheral that the company launched for the iPad Pro a few months ago. This terminal offers a trackpad (trackpad support was added to iPadOS last year) and roughly the same type of keyboard as the Apple desktop keyboard of the same name. The Magic Keyboard for the iPad Air is $ 279, and the Smart Keyboard Folio for the iPad Air is $ 179.
